We broke ground on November 29th, 2017. The idea was (and still is, I guess) to build the addition ourselves so that we would appreciate every little bit that was added. If we hired it out, we could leave for a week, come back and it would be complete! But would we appreciate that?
After 4 years, I think we would have been just fine. 🙂
